Producer and director Opa Williams has turned 50.
Often referred to as the ‘humour merchant’, Williams hit the golden jubilee on July 31, 2012. Friends and well-wishers flooded his Facebook page with congratulatory messages.

Williams is regarded as one of the founding fathers of modern day stand up comedy in Nigeria. He is best known for premiering the first ever comedy talent show ‘Nite of a Thousand Laughs‘ back in 1995. He ran the show for 16 years.
