A combined team of policemen qnd soldiers on Sunday night rescued Super Eagles and Udinese midfielder, Christian Obodo, from a suspected kidnappers’ den in Emevor, Delta State.
Obodo had been kidnapped on Friday from Effurun near Warri.
His kidnappers also demanded 150,000 euros for his release.
But Delta State Commissioner of Policr Ikechukwu Aduba said no ransom was paid and that his kidnappers were arrested.
