A Lagos High Court presided over by Justice Adeniyi Onigbanjo has discharged and acquitted Deji Abiola, son of late Moshood Abiola of the one count-charge of stealing and fraudulent conversion preferred against him by the EFCC.Deji had been standing trial for allegedly swindling Hamzat Babatunde Jose of N35.5 million under the pretext of importing a printing machine for him, from Switzerland . But both have agreed to settle it out of court, hence he was discharged and acquitted.
