These days, a large percentage of Nigerian designers parade at least one ankara piece in their collections, giving the fabric a boost. Perhaps one factor which has endeared the ankara prints to the hearts of Nigerian designers is the light nature of the fabrics combined with the array of colours and patterns it offers.
