Slim Burna To Release Long Awaited Mixtape On Birthday

On-the-rise Port Harcourt music artist Slim Burna is slated to release highly anticipated "I'm On Fire" on his 25th birthday, April 11, 2013. This will be Burna's debut mixtape offering, although he's previously in the past released several loose tracks along with his popular compilations, "The Streets Mixtape" volumes 1, 2, and 3, which featured great music from both the up-and-comers and some of the established artistes of the Niger Delta - South South regions in Nigeria.more details after the cut
Slim Burna will be offering mostly, very entertaining renditions of some of his favorite dancehall hits on the forthcoming project. Also joining him on the guest list are Attitude (of Dem Mama Soldiers), Squeeze, Bukwild Da Ikwerrian, Pi Piego (of Ruud Boiz), Knowledge and many more.
The 15-track collection will serve as a promotional tool to help bring more awareness as well as expose his music to more listeners and will be released under Street Rhymes Entertainment.
"It maybe quite surprising to some but "I'm On Fire" is the best thing I've done lately. I've grown both lyrically and vocally, my style has improved and I feel like I have more control of my abilities now. I can assure you that this tape is completely awesome and not to be missed" he said.
The cover art for the mixtape was designed by talented graphic artist Felix Orji who is also the creative director of Port Harcourt based label Dizjam Entertainment.
