Chinese lovers fall to their deaths while Having Sex by window

A couple are believed to have fallen to their deaths when a window they were having sex against gave way. The horrific accident allegedly happened in China when the glass pane shattered.
The tragic man and woman are then understood to have hurtled to their deaths. Eyewitnesses said the couple both fell to the ground as they clinched on to each other.
A source in China said: “With the two of them holding each other tight, they fell out of the building”. Shocking photos in China appear to show the couple on the ground under sheets. Blood is splattered near their bodies on the pavement.
Medical staff and what appear to be police officers can also be seen examining the scene. The man and woman are thought to have fallen out of an apartment in the city of Wuhan, central China.

In what's been described by some as a publicity stunt, Wu also opened her an account containing 20 million yuan ($3.9 million), gave her shares in his company and handed over numerous properties, including several villas and a shop in Quanzhou city.

The daughter and her new husband, government employee Mr Xu, were classmates from nursery school until they left high school at 18.

The love of a woman is becoming a lucrative business in the entrepreneurial region of Jinjiang as billionaires outdo each other for the largest dowry.

According to one Hong Kong newspaper, marrying a girl from Jinjiang is "better than robbing a bank".

Wu's wife said the groom was an outstanding young man.

"He gets his bread from the government. As parents, we certainly want our child's life to be more stable than our lives as entrepreneurs. And it was fate, too."

Wu's daughter has also proved herself an asset for her father's business.

She is on the board of his bathroom and kitchen tile company Wanli and was recently behind a stock market listing in Korea.

A spokesman for Wanli confirmed the size of Mr Wu's dowry to the South China Morning Post, but disputed the banquet would last for eight days as the businessman wanted to keep things simple.

Millionaire offers $65 million to any man that can Win His Lesbian Daughter's heart

A businessman from Hong Kong has offered a $65 million dowry to any man who can win the heart of his lesbian daughter.

Cecil Chao announced the financial reward of HK$500 million after his daughter, Gigi, married her same-sex partner of seven years in France earlier this year.

“I don’t mind whether he is rich or poor. The important thing is that he is generous and kind hearted,” 76-year-old Chao was quoted as saying.

“Gigi is a very good woman with both talents and looks. She is devoted to her parents, is generous and does volunteer work,” he added.

He also rejected “false reports” that Gigi, 33, had married abroad, saying she was still single.

Chao, who owns publicly-listed property developer Cheuk Nang, could not be reached for comment. Same-sex marriages are not recognised in Hong Kong, a socially conservative Chinese city where homosexuality was decriminalised in 1991.

Chao is well known in Hong Kong’s social circles and regularly appears at public events with his latest young girlfriend.

He reportedly once claimed to have had intimate relations with 10,000 women.

Visa: U.S. lists Nigeria, Brazil, China, as priority nations

The U.S. has listed Nigeria, Brazil and China as priority nations on its visa application following a surge in consular demands, Mrs Patty Neary, a consular officer, said on Wednesday.

Neary told newsmen in Abuja at the country’s Embassy weekly briefing that more than 40,000 visa applications had so far been processed in Nigeria this year.

She said that the figure represented 11 per cent increase over the 2011 fiscal year.

Neary said 75 per cent of the applications were for tourist visas, while 25 per cent accounted for student, business and official visas.

She said that a majority of the applicants were granted visas.

The consular officer warned applicants against patronising touts and expressed the Embassy’s commitment to continue to provide consular services to Nigerians, and as well reduce the wait time. NAN

China's Wen Xia Yu wins Miss World 2012 title,

Ordos (China), Aug 18 (IANS) China's Wen Xia Yu was crowned the Miss World 2012 at a gala ceremony here Saturday.
Wales' Sophie Moulds was adjudged the first runner-up, while Australia's Jessica Kahawaty was the second runner-up.
India's Vanya Mishra made it to the top seven spot but failed to progress further. She, however, did bag the titles of Miss Social Media and Miss Beauty with a Purpose.
In the semi-finals, the contestants were asked to perform on the music of their country and Vanya chose to dance on "Dil cheez kya hai" from 1981 film "Umrao Jaan", which landed her a spot in the top seven finalists.
Last year's winner, Venezuela's Ivian Sarcos, crowned Wen as the new Miss World at the glittering ceremony held in Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium here.
The competition saw 116 countries competing for the title.

China to make it illegal to ignore your mom and dad

When was the last time you visited your parents? Has it been a while? If you live in China, it might soon be illegal to go without paying mom and dad a visit. After a survey revealed that more than 33 percent of people had only visited their parents once in the last year, Chinese lawmakers began voicing plans to amend the country’s elderly rights law to make it mandatory for children to visit or “send respects to” their parents.

A clause would make it illegal for people to “neglect or cold-shoulder elderly people,” but critics question how this could be enforced. Still, more than 42 percent of people think the law is a good idea, so call your folks now to get rid of that gnawing sense of guilt.
