Kim posted a selfie on instagram on 15th where she cropped her daughter North out of the photo. Since then, the internet has been ranting and has literally gone upside down on Kim for that single act. Kanye West wants to name his child 'North' West? + To Name Album 'I am God'

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly chosen a name for their unborn child who is due in July.

According to The Sun, the 32-year-old reality star and her rapper beau have come up with potential monikers for the baby and North is at the top for the list.

West, 35, is reportedly keen on the unusual name as he thinks it sounds good in conjunction with his surname.

He is believed to have tried out the name with friends during Paris Fashion Week.

"He also has a sense of humour though and knows how his self-indulgence is seen by the general public. It's half tongue-in-cheek, half what Kanye probably feels is true," an insider told the paper.

Sources had hinted that the duo planned to pay tribute to West's late mother by naming the child Donda if it were a girl, but it appears that they are following in the less traditional footsteps of close friends Jay-Z and Beyoncé who named their daughter Blue Ivy.

It is not clear if Kardashian is fully on board as it will mean dropping the family tradition of giving children a name starting with a "K".

The cocky Gold Digger hitmaker, who recently attacked Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake's budding friendship and took a swipe at the Grammy Awards in a bizarre on-stage rant, also plans to call his next album I Am God.

"Kanye's ego is something else, so he's quite serious about the title," a source told The Sun.

Press Release On The Posting Of Igbo/Christian Graduates To The North By NYSC‏

We have received confirmation that thousands of Igbo youths and other Southern Christians were mobilized by National Youth Service Corps for primary assignments in the conflict endemic areas of Northern Nigeria.

We hereby state as follows:

1. It is heartless and insensitive to post Igbo and christian graduates to the North in disregard of the current security situation.

2. We will hold the President and NYSC DG responsible for any of them that loses his/her life to Boko Haram and religious extremists.

3. The government must immediately re-deploy them to safer areas of the country or suspend the entire NYSC scheme. We are still mourning 11 corpers killed in April (2011) as a result of the post election crisis in Northern Nigeria as well as others that have lost their lives to the current upheaval in Yobe, Kaduna, Kano, Jos, Maiduguri, Gombe and other Northern states.

4. We use this opportunity to remind the government and the NYSC that it is barely a year since we lost many youth corpers of southern Nigerian extraction to the senseless carnage in most parts of northern Nigeria. Sending more of our youths into the same dungeon is not only callous but highly insensitive to the esteemed value we place on our children many of whom have already been sacrificed to the Nigerian debacle. Thus we ask, how many more lives of our children must we sacrifice for the oneness of Nigeria?

5. We hereby put the Federal Government and NYSC on notice that we will not hesitate to use every resources available to us to bring them to account if any Igbo graduate is put in harms way in the North.

6. All Igbo graduates posted to the North are advised to boycott the service and forward their posting details to us through this email; igbo.ville@yahoo.com.

6. Any Igbo graduate who boycotts his posting to the north must be issued exemption letter by the NYSC on or before 10th of July 2012.

7. We wish to remind President Jonathan of the enormous sacrifices, in blood, that Igbos have made to bring about and sustain his presidency. Our reward cannot be for him to conspire with those wishing to wipe off our educational advantage. We will view his silence in this matter as an act of hostility against Ndigbo.

8. We are by a copy of this letter to relevant international agencies putting them on notice about this new dimension of Igbo cleansing in Nigeria.

Nigerian man emerges as top graduating student from EMU in North Cyprus, with a CGPA of 4.00

A young Nigerian has emerged the top graduating student from the Faculty of engineering at the Eastern Mediterranean University in the Turkish republic of North Cyprus, obtaining a status of High Honours (first class). Tunji Anthony Olu-Taiwo hails from Ifako-Ijaiye Local government area of Lagos state. 

He finished with a Grade Point Average of 4.00 out of a possible 4.00 (straight A's).He is the first African to obtain this status from his department. He obtained a degree in Computer Engineering.

Tunji was born in Kano, Nigeria where he attended Air force Nursery and Primary school. He completed his secondary education at St. Thomas Secondary School in Kano.

He loves programming and spends times developing mobile applications. He is also a good chess player. He loves software development and he hope to use this medium to change the Nigeria and the world for a better place. Tunji hopes to further his education in the field of software Engineering. His dream is to become a reputable Software Engineer by improving the world of computing.
