Nigerian man stabbed to death by his South African wife

Nigerian man, Tony Rholand  (pictured above on the right) was stabbed to death by his South African wife, Lungi, at their home in Willims town, Cape Town, South Africa on Tuesday January 1st.
 The couple, who have a kid together, got into an argument in the early hours of January 1st and before anyone could stop it, Lungi stabbed Tony severally in the stomach. Tony died in the hospital a few hours later. Lungi has been arrested. See another photo of the family after the cut...

Xclusive: Man Returns From Night Vigil At 3am, Catches Wife Sexing Neighbour

A man who had gone for an all-night prayer got the shock of his life when he allegedly caught his wife pants down with a neighbour at their matrimonial home.

The incident which occurred in Zimbabwe is said to have happened at around 3am. A source said the husband, only identified as Maskiri, returned home from prayers and caught his wife Fungai Sibanda having séx with their neighbour Tinashe Mutuwari. It is alleged that the woman had invited the man to sleep over at her place after claiming to be lonely.

“The two lovebirds’ timing was wrong as Maskiri decided to return earlier than expected and he caught them in the act. He then alerted some neighbours who proceeded to report the matter to the police,” said a witness.

When Maskiri was contacted for comment, he opened up saying he was still in dilemma of what had driven his wife to do such an embarrassing thing.

“I had gone for an all-night prayer and my wife had remained at home. At around 3am, I decided to go home as I was feeling sleepy. When I got home, I got the shock of my life as I found my wife sleeping with Tinashe on our bed. I became weak and could not do or say anything to the two. I quietly walked out and informed some neighbours as I proceeded to report the matter to the police,” said Maskiri.

He revealed that he suspected it was not the first time Tinashe had spend the night at his home as he regularly went for all-night prayers leaving his wife at home.

“Surprisingly, Fungai rushed to seek a peace order against me saying I was troubling her and she won the case,” he said.

Tinashe could neither confirm nor deny the allegations.

“The matter is being handled by police and Maskiri keeps on accusing me of sleeping with his wife,” said Tinashe.

Efforts to get a comment from the woman at the centre of controversy were fruitless as her phone was unreachable.

Monju Begum, a 40-year-old Bangladesh woman stopped an alleged rapist in his tracks when she reportedly cut off his penis and then took it to police as evidence. see full details after the cut

According to police, Begam’s neighbor, Mozammel Haq Mazi, forced his way into her shanty and began sexually assaulting her.

Investigators say Begum stopped the attack by cutting off his penis  She then placed the evidence into a polythene bag and took it into police as proof that Mazi had attempted to rape her.

Begum, a married mother of three, told police that Mazi had been harassing her for the past six months. Mazi is reportedly also married and has five children.

“It is quite an unusual incident. As far as I am aware, this is the first time that a woman has brought a severed penis to the police station as evidence,” said police spokesperson Abul Khaer.

“We will arrest him once his condition gets better,” said Khaer.

Mazi denied the allegations telling investigators that the two were having an affair.

“Recently she suggested that both of us can go settle down in Dhaka,” said Mazi. “I refused and told her that I cannot leave my wife and children, so she took revenge on me.”

Man Responsible For Arik Bomb Scare Released From Custody

This is a brief highlight of the incident that occurred on the Arik Air flight from Maiduguri to Abuja.

On Friday, 19th October, 2012, Wife of the SSG to the Borno State Government, Hajia Yachilla JIDDA, travelled to Maiduguri in company of one Aminu S. GALADIMA, an interior decorator based in Abuja to do some interior decoration work. On arrival in Maiduguri, he was lodged at Greenland Hotel. During the course of his stay, he exhibited unusual behaviour by smashing a window, and ended up with lacerations on his hands.

The SSG was contacted, and in collaboration with the Hotel management, subject was taken to Atal Hospital, also in Maiduguri, where he received treatment. His family in Abuja was contacted and they gave confirmation that GALADIMA has been mentally unstable. In addition, his elder brother who lives in the UK was contacted and he requested that subject be returned to Abuja for medical attention.

On Sunday, 21st October, 2012, he was taken to the airport to be returned to Abuja, but missed the flight. However, the Airport management was informed of his state of health, and they advised that whenever his return is scheduled, the management should be notified. Unfortunately, when GALADIMA was taken to the Airport on 23rd October for his return trip, the management of the Airport was not informed, and 10 minutes into the flight, due to slight turbulence, his condition was triggered off. Meanwhile, GALADIMA is in the custody of security forces.
       
This clarification has become necessary to dispel the unfounded rumours concerning the flight.

Nigerian Who Used Dead Man’s ID For 20yrs Faces Deportation

Do you guys remember the story of a 54-yr old Nigerian man, Mr Peter Bimbo Olumuyiwa Oyewole who worked as an Airport Security supervisor with a dead man‘s Identity card for 20 years ? If you have missed it, though i didnt carry that story but major news carriers took that story.

The latest on his case is that Oyewole has pleaded guilty to using fake id.
He confessed he entered US as a student in 1989 but refused to leave the country when his student visa expired.

He further admitted he used the Id of a dead man, Jerry Thomas which he purchased from a Nigerian taxi driver.

He claimed the dead man sold his IDs to the cab driver who in turn sold them to Mr Oyewole.
After his guilty plea, a judge holds the decision of allowing him to stay in the US or be deported back to Nigeria.
His sentencing hearing has been scheduled for the 19th of October, 2012.

Despite such romance with the altar, any of Akintola’s fans who thinks she is missing real life marriage had, however,  better purge him/herself of such a thought.  According to her, time ought to have taught any discerning person that the traditional attachment people have to marriage can no more remain the same. Her words, “People can get married at 48 nowadays. It is no more a thing of ‘You are old’. And grandparents should no more put pressure on people. When you say, ‘I pick this man’, that is it. I like men, being not gay or whatever. But I don’t think age is a barrier. If you find a man 10 years younger or older, go on with him.”
She also feels there is nothing wrong in having kids out of wedlock. According to her, refusing to do so if circumstances call for it will mean what she calls double burden. While she does not, however, personally rule out marriage, she is rather amused when asked who her ideal man is.
“There is no such thing as an ideal man. There is no perfect man or woman. What you have is work in progress. Once you meet half way, you just have to build from there,” she explains.
Akintola feels fulfilled at playing Alhaja in Hoodrush. She commends the producer for setting a standard that, she believes, is what every professional should go for. Nigerian Man Faces Death Sentence In Malaysia

Nigerian man studying in Malaysia, Anthony Esikalam Ndidi is currently facing death by hanging in Malaysia. Anthony Esikalam Ndidi was charged with Emma Louise L’Aiguille, in a Kuala Lumpur court two weeks after police said they were arrested in possession of one kilogramme of the banned drug.full details inside

Drug trafficking carries a mandatory death sentence by hanging in Malaysia, where hundreds of people are on death row, mostly for drug offences.

Emma Louise L'aiguille, a 34-year-old nurse from Melbourne, who was also arrested on July 17 with the Nigerian man in a car allegedly containing about 1kg of methamphetamines.

L’aiguille appeared in Kuala Lumpur’s Jalan Duta Magistrates Court yesterday august 1st, charged under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act, which carries a mandatory death sentence for possession of more than 50g of illicit drugs.

A Perth man, Dominic Jude Christopher Bird, is on trial for his life after being arrested by undercover police officers in Kuala Lumpur on March 1.

Prosecutors allege 32-year-old Bird was arrested trying to sell officers a substance containing167g of methamphetamine.

Malaysia’s New Straits Times, quoting police sources, reported today that L’Aiguille was a frequent visitor to Malaysia since 2009.

The newspaper said she was staying in a house in Puchong, a southern Kuala Lumpur area, at the time of her arrest.

Her companion claimed to be a language student.

According to details released by police at the weekend, the pair were in parked car in downtown Kuala Lumpur, allegedly waiting for another person when police searched their vehicle.

The New Straits Times reported the woman had tested positive for methamphetamine in her body.

Nigerian man emerges as top graduating student from EMU in North Cyprus, with a CGPA of 4.00

A young Nigerian has emerged the top graduating student from the Faculty of engineering at the Eastern Mediterranean University in the Turkish republic of North Cyprus, obtaining a status of High Honours (first class). Tunji Anthony Olu-Taiwo hails from Ifako-Ijaiye Local government area of Lagos state. 

He finished with a Grade Point Average of 4.00 out of a possible 4.00 (straight A's).He is the first African to obtain this status from his department. He obtained a degree in Computer Engineering.

Tunji was born in Kano, Nigeria where he attended Air force Nursery and Primary school. He completed his secondary education at St. Thomas Secondary School in Kano.
