Pastor Tunde Bakare Condemns Suspension Of John & Love Kumuyi

Pastor Tunde Bakare of  Latter Rain Assembly has condemned the suspension of John and Love Kumuyi from the church. Here is what he said in a new interview; 

I personally did not see what they have done wrong. A man is entitled to his own authority in his own home.1st Peter Chapter 3. A wife should dress to please the husband and not the members of the church or public. It’s sheer wickedness to the couple, they should leave them to enjoy their honeymoon.

They should not squeeze them to the modus operandi of a particular organization. I did not see anything wrong in the wedding. The bride was not naked or dressed inappropriately and  the groom didn’t. Esther the queen was beautifully dressed in the bible to gain the king’s attention. They should not make mountain out of a molehill.

I was in the Deeper Life Bible Church for five years and nobody compelled me to dress the way I dressed. My wife was with me in the church though we weren’t married then. She wears earrings and dresses nicely. All this talk about this couple should stop.

Controversy Trails Pastor Kumuyi's Son Wedding

The second son of pastor Kumuyi, John Kumuyi got married on the 15th of June and some people have criticized the way his wife was dressed compared to other weddings which have held in his father's church and termed the classy wedding, Un-deeper-life-stic. Some believe the bride's dress was too flamboyant, while some have said the pastor has not stopped any bride from dressing the way she likes and so his son's bride should be left alone.

“People have refused to live their own life but rather attach it to an apron of hypocritical philosophy and man made doctrine. I exonerate the dynamic Senior Kumuyi, I think it is the people that have refused to change. I respect Kumuyi and his teachings but the people he is teaching are not learning, it is a pity, religion should embrace freedom, that is what the bible says. It only warned that you should not use your liberty for evil, or take the grace for granted.”

To another Emeka Jane, the development would lead to something else. She voiced her conviction thus, “I believe that with this, Deeper Life will metamorphose into something else. Those (some members) who have been looking for an opportunity like this to dress as they like, will cease this particular opportunity.

PETE EDOCHIE'S Alleged Son Speaks Again

If you are not aware of this. There is a 24-year old Kenyan model who claims actor Pete Edochie is his biological father. Well you will get to hear more from him in this interview with Alonge Michael.

I can't …He is a magician ...had me and disappeared, so I can't tell much about him.

My father’s land ... Nigeria

Yes, Nigeria! I learnt he’s a prominent and well known and respected actor in Nigeria from the South Eastern part of the country, as I am made to believe by my mum. That’s the little I know about him.

Are you sure?

My mum said so, in fact, he’s still very much an active participant in the industry.

Taking a closer look at yourself, who do you think your dad is?

Well, my mum said and I want to believe her that multiple award-winning actor, Pete Edochie is my biological father.

How sure are you?

I can't prove it; I only got wind of it last year.

Can you give us reasons why you can’t prove it?

Distance and lack of information from both of them, my mum and him, that is, my biological father, Pete Edochie.

But does your mum realise that you need to know who your true father is?

She does, she kept it away from me until last year when she told me about it. I was shocked. 

Have you made effort to reach Pete Edoche after that revelation?

Yes I have, like any other man who might not be in the know about an existing biological child of his; he denied. Saying he has never been to Kenya in his entire life.

Through what means did you reach out to him?

My mum sent someone to him and the person return with his message that he said he never had any fling with anybody in Kenya because he has never been there in his entire life.

What was your reaction when he said that?

It’s either he’s lying or he has a twin brother.

This fact you have is not enough to call him your father….

There are talks here and there that he used to live in Nairobi in Kenya in a small town called Buru Buru.

What year?

1987-1988

Has it ever occurred to you that your mum might not be factual about this?

I believe my mother. She has always been there for me, I don’t see a reason why she would lie or hide any information about my father or paternity. This is not a matter to be joked with.

So she told you that Pete Edochie, Nigerian bearded actor is your father?

Yes she did.

Doesn’t your mother have a picture or something she can put down as evidence?

She was having a picture of the two of them together, according to her, she gave it to a friend to help trace him and that friend said he has misplaced the picture. Now you can see the critical situation I have been placed.

What surname do you bear?

Muriithi

How? That’s not a Nigerian name as you claim to have a Nigerian father…

Some other man took responsibility of bringing me up but he also left soon after my sister was born, but his mother brought me up that's why I kept the name. He’s a Kenyan.

Did this other guy too divorce your mum or just left like your dad?

Left, my mum was never married to any of them .

What attempt have you made to come to Nigeria and solve this riddle once and for all?

If a man wants nothing to do with me and I believe him to be my father, I also don't want much to do with him.

From the look of things, I guess only DNA can settle this paternity issue?

If he truly hasn't been to Kenya as he claimed and I take him through all that, he will hate me the more, so DNA test seems like a long thing right now. I want to believe that everything happens for a reason. I am made to succeed in life. I am not looking for money or anything from Pete, just his acceptance. But of what use is the success for a man to deny the paternity of his child. It’s cruelty and all of us shall meet to account for our various deeds on earth.

The burden now rests on your shoulders to press further on the paternity issue, since you know your mum is not making a mistake then you should stand as a man to unravel the mystery surrounding your birth.

May be this is how God wants it. In Kenya, I am a big name and I have followership but in God I trust. Thanks for your advice anyway

Late MC Loph's record label boss adopts his surviving son

Morgan Entertainment boss, Emeka Morgan Oguejiofor (late MC Loph's Record Label) has adopted Obiajulu Jnr, the only son of Loph. And by virtue of that, he is now responsible for the boy's upkeep and total upbringing. Here is what he said:

he went ahead and told me how he had Unprotected s*x with a girl in his village and contacted STD before he got married, and how he didn’t treat it for a very long time, that eventually when he went to the hospital, the doctors told him that the std he didn’t treat ontime had made him sterile(can’t impregnate a woman) He said he treated the STD b4 he got married to me, and he has always known that he was sterile, and that all those test we’ve been doing that he has been paying the doctors to give me a wrong result.

Video:Usher’s Stepson Dies After Jet Ski Accident — Pulled Off Life Support

Usher’s stepson Kile Glover was put to rest this morning, July 21, after suffering injuries in a jet ski accident that occurred earlier this month — so sad. Read on for all the details.
Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster sadly laid her son to rest this morning.

Doctors removed 11-year-old Kile Glover from life support after it was determined he could never recover, according to TMZ. The doctors declared he was brain dead on July 8. see full deets and video inside

Tameka is said to have struggled with her decision — as any mother surely would! For the past two weeks, Tameka remained hopeful that there was a miracle. On July 9, Tameka posted a message on her Facebook page saying, “Kile, you are strong…you’ll be saved, I know it. I love you my baby. I need all #prayers for my son. Thank you everybody!”

On July 16, we reported, “Everyone but Tameka has seen the writing on the wall. It’s only a matter of time that her son will pass and not make it as he is doing really bad,” as a source close to the situation revealed to HollywoodLife.com. “But no one is telling Tameka their thoughts, because she is not even considering pulling the plug and is still looking for a miracle.”

In an effort to make things easier for his ex-wife during this trying time, Usher agreed to settle his custody battle with Tameka over their two sons, Usher Raymond V, 5, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 3. Usher immediately flew Tameka on a private jet to the hospital upon news of the accident.

Kile was like a son to Usher — the pop star and Tameka were married for two years before divorcing in June 2009.

Kile was injured on July 7 while riding in an inner tube on the back of a pontoon. A family friend reportedly, riding behind on a jet ski, lost control and struck Kile.

After 1 week with 11-year-old son Kile Glover on life support after he was involved in a jet skiing accident on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Tameka Raymond has asked for prayers via her social network.  She tweeted for the first time since the accident, "#Pray4Kile".  She also changed her Twitter background and avatar to a picture of Kile to garner support.full deets inside...

Her ex-husband Usher has been by her side the entire time.  But since Kile was declared brain dead, it seems there have been no significant changes in his health.  But Tameka has not lost hope.

TMZ reports that Tameka's family is considering taking Kile off of life support as early as the beginning of next month.  Or as long as the insurance company will continue to fund as, reportedly, she will not be able to cover the large hospital bills herself.

According to our sources, Tameka can only keep Kyle on life-support as long as her insurance company agrees to pay ... otherwise she doesn't have the funds to cover the enormous hospital bills.

We're told the insurance company hasn't set a specific deadline, but they've made it clear ... they're only willing to shell out coverage for a couple months ... tops.

Our sources say that Usher -- who helped raise Kyle for several years -- has been incredibly supportive in this difficult time... but has NOT offered to pay for any medical bills. We're told Tameka does not see him as a viable financial option.

Meanwhile, we're keeping Kile in our prayers.

SAGE STALLONE Sylvester's Son Dies Of Overdose

Sage Stallone -- Sylvester Stallone's son -- has died and sources tell us the cause was an overdose of pills.

The details surrounding the death are still unclear .. but we're told he was found in his L.A. apartment by his girlfriend.

Sources tell us authorities are trying to determine if the death was intentional or accidental.

We're told Sylvester is a "wreck."

Sage famously made his film debut alongside his father in the 1990 movie "Rocky 5" -- playing the role of Rocky's son Robert Balboa.

Hours after doctors declared Kyle Glover brain dead, Justin Bieber’s mom Pattie Mallette and manager Scooter Braun sent their prayers to Usher, ex-wife Tameka Foster and their family.

With Usher being Justin’s mentor, it only seems appropriate that Justin’s mom and manager would both send their love towards Usher and his family.

Pattie tweeted, “Please pray for Kile Glover to recover!! This is not a doctors call! Need a MIRACLE!!” And Scooter soon followed by saying, “my prayers tonight go out to @iamRyanGlover and @tamekaraymond.”
